RRB NTPC Graduate Last Date 2026: Apply Online Before 6 November
If you hold a bachelor's degree and you want one of the 3,548 Graduate posts under CEN 06/2026, your window is almost shut. The last date to apply for RRB NTPC Graduate posts is 6 November 2026, 11:59 pm — that is three days from now. After that, the apply link on rrbapply.gov.in closes, and there is no late entry, no offline form and no second chance this cycle. This page walks you through who should apply, what it costs, and the exact steps, so you can finish today instead of fighting the portal on the final evening. For the bigger picture of both notices, start with our RRB NTPC 2026 homepage guide.
RRB NTPC Graduate CEN 06/2026: the dates that matter
- Apply last date: 6 November 2026, 11:59 pm
- Fee payment last date: 8 November 2026
- Correction window: 9 to 18 November 2026, ₹250 per modification
- CBT 1: tentatively the fourth week of December 2026 (exact dates awaited)
- Notification: CEN 06/2026, published 7 October 2026; applications opened 8 October 2026
Miss the 6 November deadline and the correction window cannot save you — corrections are only for people who submitted a form in time. Our guide to the Undergraduate CEN 07/2026 application covers the Class 12 posts, which stay open a little longer, until 13 November.
Who should apply for the Graduate posts
You need a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university. Your age on 1 January 2027 should be between 18 and 33 years, with the usual relaxations on top — 3 extra years for OBC-NCL, 5 for SC and ST, and further relaxation for PwBD and ex-servicemen as notified in the CEN. If you are still waiting for your final-year degree result, you are not eligible for this cycle; the degree has to be in hand by the closing date.
The 3,548 vacancies sit in four posts:
- Goods Train Manager: 2,750 posts — the biggest share by far
- Senior Clerk cum Typist: 371 posts
- Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist: 300 posts
- Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor: 127 posts
One change worth knowing: there is no typing skill test this cycle for the two typist posts. Selection runs through CBT 1, CBT 2, document verification and the medical exam.
Application fee
The fee is ₹500 if you are a General, OBC or EWS candidate, and ₹250 for SC, ST, women, PwBD, ex-servicemen, transgender, minority and economically backward class candidates. Pay it online by card, net banking or UPI before 8 November 2026. Your form only counts as submitted once the fee is paid, so do not stop at the "application filled" screen — go all the way to the payment confirmation and save it.
How to apply on rrbapply.gov.in, step by step
- Open rrbapply.gov.in and click Create an Account. If you created an account for any RRB notice in 2024, 2025 or 2026, log in with that same account instead of making a new one.
- Fill the account details exactly as they appear on your Class 10 certificate. This page can never be edited later, so read every spelling twice.
- Verify your identity with Aadhaar or DigiLocker if you can. Forms verified with other documents face stricter scrutiny later.
- Open the CEN 06/2026 application link and choose your RRB. You can pick one RRB only — a second application gets all your forms rejected.
- Rank the four posts in your order of preference. A post you leave out is treated as "not interested" and cannot be added later.
- Take your live photo against a plain background, upload your signature and documents, and check the preview carefully.
- Submit, pay the fee, and save the confirmation page with your registration number.
Our full RRB NTPC apply online guide covers each screen in more detail, including the account mistakes that get forms rejected every cycle.
Photo and signature specs
Most last-day rejections are photo and signature problems, so sort these before you start. Your signature must be a JPG image of 30 to 49 KB, sized 140 × 60 pixels, written in running handwriting — not capital letters, which the notice rejects. The photo is captured live during the form, so sit against a plain, light background with no cap or dark glasses. Keep your degree certificate, Class 10 certificate, category certificate if you have one, and a photo ID within reach while you fill the form.
What happens after you apply
Three things follow in order. First, the fee window stays open until 8 November 2026 for candidates who submitted in time. Second, the correction window runs from 9 to 18 November 2026: you can fix most mistakes for ₹250 per modification, though your account details and your chosen RRB can never be changed. Third, CBT 1 is tentatively planned for the fourth week of December 2026, going by the indicative schedule published on 12 October 2026 — the exact exam dates are still awaited, so treat December as preparation time, not a confirmed timetable. Our syllabus and exam pattern guide shows what CBT 1 actually asks, so you can start revising the day your form goes in.
Do not wait for 6 November evening
Every RRB cycle ends the same way: the portal slows to a crawl in the last 48 hours, payments hang, and thousands of candidates are left staring at a loading screen at 11:50 pm. The boards do not extend the deadline for portal trouble. If your degree is in hand and your documents are ready, finish the form today, pay the fee in the same sitting, and keep your registration number and confirmation page safe. Three days is plenty — but only if you use them now, not on the final night.
